Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 is anticipated to debut in July together with the regular Galaxy Z Fold 8. While Samsung has not officially announced this, an early leak has shown the cases that will be available for the clamshell foldable phone. The images of the cases imply that the new Galaxy Z Flip 8 will resemble last year's Galaxy Z Fold 7 more closely. It is likely to keep the same dual rear camera setup as its earlier model. Reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 might come with a 4,300mAh battery. Sammyguru.com shared pictures of what are believed to be the smartphone cases for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 before the official release, providing insight into what to expect. At first sight, the flip-style device seems quite similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It looks like it will feature a big front display that is likely to be 4.1 inches. Two cameras aimed outwards are positioned in the upper left corner of the back panel along with an LED flash.
The bottom part of the rear panel shows it may support MagSafe-like wireless charging. This suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 could use Qi2 charging, though it may not have built-in magnets. On the front side, the phone appears to have a flat inner screen with a hole punch cutout at the center for the selfie camera. The inside display is expected to be 6.9 inches. When folded, the hinge area looks like it has a metal strip with Samsung's name on it. The case seems to be designed with openings for buttons, ports, and speaker areas. Though the images show design features similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is thought to be a bit taller, wider, and thicker than the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Speculations indicate that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will have a 4,300mAh battery and support 25W charging. It is set to be introduced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Wide Fold at a Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22. The event is expected to be held in London. All three devices will probably come with the One UI 9 based on Android 17.
