From special sights to a great quality of life, Dubai is the ideal place for many individuals. If you have always wished to move and stay somewhere temporarily while you work, Dubai has opportunities for you. Now, you can reside and work in Dubai for a year with a Digital Nomad Visa. This option is also open to Indians.
The Dubai Digital Nomad Visa, which is also called the Dubai Virtual Working Program, allows people who work remotely to live and work in Dubai for one year while they are employed by a company located outside the UAE. You do not need a sponsor to apply for this visa, but there are specific eligibility requirements you need to meet.
To apply for a Dubai Digital Work Visa, you need to fulfill these conditions:
You must be an employee of a company that is registered outside the UAE or be self-employed with a business registered overseas. You need to provide proof of employment indicating that you will be with a company outside the UAE for at least one year. You must have a minimum monthly income of AED 12,856, which is roughly Rs 3,06,350.
How To Apply?
First, you must collect all the necessary documents. Then, you can submit your application online via the GDRFA-Dubai portal, the Virtual Working Program website, or in person at an Amer Center in Dubai. The next step is to complete the application form and upload all required documents. You need to pay the visa fee, which is about AED 372.5, or around Rs 8,876. However, there may be additional costs, bringing the total application expense to about Rs 53,377. Once your application is accepted, you will get an entry permit if you are applying from outside the UAE. After reaching Dubai, you must finish a medical fitness test, provide your biometrics, apply for an Emirates ID, and get a residency visa stamped. The Dubai Digital Nomad Visa usually gets approved within 5-14 business days, although the time frame can differ for each application.
