The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) New Jersey team launched the TRS NRI (Non-Resident Indian) campaign under the leadership of the party's NRI coordinator Mahesh Bigala.

The core team members from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware attended the TRS-NRI election campaign commencement meeting and passed a few resolutions as well.

The resolutions include a 'Shradhanjali' to former Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and as well observed a moment of silence for victims who lost their lives in Kerala floods.

Mahesh Bigala spoke in detail on the TRS government's development activities and conveyed Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's message to all NRIs. He also invited the TRS-USA (United States of America) team members to play an active role in the forthcoming elections, stating that NRIs could influence the results due to the latest proxy voting rights for NRIs after the Bill was passed in Rajya Sabha. Bigala also requested the TRS-USA team to be active with the campaign on social media.

He also requested the TRS-USA members to donate generously to support Kerala flood victims.

TRS NJ in charge Mahesh Pogaku, TRS-USA convener Srinivas Ganagoni, and TRS-Media in-charge Devender Reddy were among those present.
