Actor Siddharth landed into several controversies after he expressed his views on his Twitter handle. The actor is quite active on the social media platform and expresses about several ongoing issues. After the recent security breach of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian lady shuttler Saina Nehwal tweeted "No nation can claim itself to be safe if the security of its own PM gets compromised. I condemn, in the strongest words possible, the cowardly attack on PM Modi by anarchists". For this, Siddharth posted Subtle cock champion of the world... Thank God we have protectors of India. Shame on you #Rihanna".

This did not go well with the netizens and Siddharth is badly trolled and criticized on twitter. The actor soon explained that everyone misunderstood him by posting "COCK & BULL. That's the reference. Reading otherwise is unfair and leading! Nothing disrespectful was intended, said, or insinuated. Period". National Commission for Women demanded a ban on Siddharth from Twitter. National Commission for Women's chairperson Rekha Sharma posted "This man needs a lesson or two. @TwitterIndia why this person's account still exists?..taking it up with Concerned police".

Actress Khushbu Sundar along with  Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, singer Chinmayi Sripaada responded against Siddharth. Several fans of the actor and others took their twitter handles to respond against the actor. Khusbu posted "Sid you are a friend but definitely wasn't expecting this from you. It's very crass. I am sure uncle and aunty wouldn't be proud of you. Don't get carried with your hatred towards an individual".
