Megastar Chiranjeevi after the super success of Syeraa took a break and he recently started shooting for his next film in the direction of Koratala Siva. There are several speculations about the film's title but the makers felt it too early to reveal it. Govinda Acharya was the speculated title initially but the makers today registered 'Acharya' at the Film Chamber. An official announcement will be made soon. The shoot of Acharya is happening in a special set in the outskirts of Hyderabad currently.

Chiranjeevi is in plans to wrap up the shoot of the film soon. Trisha is the leading lady and Mohan Babu is speculated to play the role of the lead antagonist. The film is made on a budget of Rs 150 crores and Manisharma is the music composer. Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments are the producers. The film is aimed for August release this year. Ram Charan will be seen in a crucial role in this film.
