It has been a while since young director Mahi V Raghav started his plans to direct the biopic of legendary politician YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The film has been titled Yatra and has been under scripting stage from the past few months. The young director after scoring a massive hit like Anando Brahma decided to direct the prestigious project. Right after wrapping up the script work, he approached Malayalam Superstar Mammootty and got his approval.

The makers unveiled the first poster which reveals the logo and the title of the film. This biopic has been titled Yatra and the other cast are being finalized. The regular shoot will commence from April 9th and will showcase the massive padayatra YSR did before he came to power. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy are producing this prestigious project on 70mm Entertainments banner. Yatra has been slated for release during December this year.
