Google might soon add two new color choices to the Pixel Buds 2a series. Leaked images hint that Google plans to release light grey and pink versions of its budget-friendly wireless earbuds. The new colors seem to match the shades of the latest Pixel smartphones, and it looks like the prices and features will stay the same. It's important to note that the Google Pixel Buds 2a were launched in India alongside the Pixel 10 series in August 2025, in the colors Hazel and Iris. A report from Android Headlines reveals that reliable images from tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) provide a detailed view of the Pixel Buds 2a in the light grey and pink options. The article mentions that the new colors will be named Fog and Berry.

The new colors for the Pixel Buds 2a are closely linked to the expected color options for the upcoming Pixel 10a smartphone. The pink version is believed to resemble the Peony finish found on recent Pixel devices. At present, the Google Pixel Buds 2a are sold in Hazel and Iris shades. The recently leaked images imply that Google is merely introducing new color choices, with no visible alterations to the design or hardware. The shape of the earbuds remains the same, and the charging case is expected to remain white on the outside, according to the report. The inside of the case is thought to match the color of the earbuds, in line with current models.

The report stated that the prices for the new colors are likely to be the same as before. The Pixel Buds 2a currently cost $129 (approximately Rs. 11,800) in the US and Rs. 12,999 in India, and the same prices are anticipated for the new color options. The earbuds run on the Google Tensor A1 chip and offer active noise cancellation along with transparency mode. They support Bluetooth 5.4 connections. The earbuds have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, while the charging case has an IPX4 rating. There is no official statement from Google regarding the launch date for these new colors. However, the article suggests that Google might reveal the new colors when they announce the Pixel 10a, which is rumored to be released around February or March.
