Lava Blaze Dragon 5G was introduced in India on Friday, featuring a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. It has a 50-megapixel camera with AI capabilities on the rear. For front-facing photos and video chats, there is an 8-megapixel camera. The phone operates on stock Android 15 from the start. The company indicated that users will also receive an Android 16 upgrade, along with two years of security updates. Lava Blaze Dragon 5G will begin selling early next month. The price in India for the device is set at Rs. 9,999 for the only available option with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It comes in two colors: Golden Mist and Midnight Mist. Customers will be able to buy it exclusively from Amazon starting at midnight on August 1. During Amazon's Great Freedom Festival sale, shoppers can benefit from a Rs. 1,000 bank discount through partner banks. An extra Rs. 1,000 bonus for exchanges is also available for purchasers. Additionally, customers can take advantage of Lava’s Free Service at home.

The Lava Blaze Dragon 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixels) 2.5D screen, offering a 120Hz refresh rate, brightness of over 450 nits, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is driven by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, along with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device allows virtual RAM expansion of up to 4GB. It comes with stock Android 15 and is expected to receive one major Android OS upgrade as well as two years of security updates. On the photography front, the Lava Blaze Dragon 5G has a 50-megapixel AI-enhanced camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The device supports a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging capability. For security, it includes a fingerprint sensor on the side and a face unlock option.
