The OnePlus Nord 5 is rumored to be making its debut in India shortly. A reliable source has indicated the anticipated launch date, pricing, and notable specifications of this rumored smartphone. It is likely to feature a binned variant of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Additionally, this device may be an adjusted version of the OnePlus Ace 5V, which is set to be revealed in China later this month. It is interesting to note that the current OnePlus Nord 4, launched in India in July 2024, is essentially a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3V. According to tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be available in India for approximately Rs. 30,000. In response to a query, he mentioned that the phone might be introduced in the country during June or July. He also suggested that the OnePlus Nord 5 could feature a flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will probably be driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e SoC, which is believed to be a binned version of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.

This lineup is likely to include the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, presumed to be the OnePlus Ace 5V. In terms of photography, the OnePlus Nord 5 is anticipated to feature a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The front-facing camera is expected to be a 16-megapixel sensor. The handset may house a battery with a capacity of around 7,000mAh and will likely support 100W wired fast charging. Moreover, the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be equipped with dual speakers, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. Its design could incorporate a plastic mid-frame along with a glass back.
