David Cameron, the prime minister of the United Kingdom said that, he would not apologize to Republican front runner for calling his proposed ban on Muslims entering the US stupid and wrong. Trump became the Republican party's presumptive presidential candidate after marking victory in Indiana primary.
The British Prime minister said that, "I won't change that view and I don't change that view and I'm very clear that the policy idea that was put forward was wrong, is wrong and will remain wrong, so I'm very clear about that."
Although, he also payed tribute to Trump for clinching the nomination of his party and said that, "Knowing the gruelling nature of the primaries and what you have to go through, anyone who makes it through that extraordinary contest to lead their party into a general election deserves our respect."
George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to Mr Trump, said that, “It is unfortunate that prime minister Cameron was one of the most outspoken critics of Mr Trump.” “Not even the Chinese premier came out with negative statements, or other European leaders.”
