Trump, Clinton declared Missouri primary winner

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were declared the official winners of the Missouri primaries, around a month after they were held.

Jason Kander, Missouri Secretary of State, finally certified the result and tweeted,  "@HillaryClinton and @realDonaldTrump have officially won Missouri."

According to the website of the secretary of state, Each takes 34 delegates. Hillary Clinton won 49.6 percent of the vote to 49.36 percent for Sanders. There was a margin of 1,574 votes.

Republican front runner, Donald Trump earned 40.84 percent of the vote, to 40.63 percent for Cruz. There was a difference of 1,965 votes.

Both Clinton and Trump are leading in the nomination race of  their respective party for the US presidential election, scheduled to be held in November. The next primaries will be held  in New York on  April 19.
