Sensational director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been working on his next film titled Spirit. Prabhas will be seen in the lead role as a ruthless cop and Tripti Dimri has been finalized to play the female lead. Deepika Padukone was considered and she was almost locked as the heroine initially. But her demands have irked Sandeep Reddy and his team. Then came a series of stories and it is a PR stunt from the team of Deepika alleged a section of Bollywood media. Without naming her, Sandeep Reddy has taken a dig against the actress. The statement has been straight and strong. Social media is left with lot of messages and netizens expressed their views.

Though this stirred controversy, most of them supported Sandeep Reddy Vanga and his stand. It is clear that Spirit is expected to be one more sensation from Sandeep and his team. Deepika is slammed for her PR stunts against the film. This is the first time the actress landed into controversy and is facing the heat. Spirit starts rolling later this year and T Series, Shri Bhadrakali Films are the producers.
