33 People Hurt In A Crash Near New Jersey Turnpike

Thirty three people were hurt in the crash between a tour bus and a tractor-trailer, which happened on the southbound New Jersey Turnpike in the West Deptford, New Jersey.

The crash happened around at 12:30 a.m. on Friday in the southbound lanes near a mile marker 19.

A Panda tour bus with carrying 50 people on the board was heading from the New York City to Atlanta when the bus collided with a tractor-trailer.

The bus has been rolled onto its side and it ended up in a grassy area off the shoulder of the highway.

The cab of a Performance Food Group tractor-trailer appeared to have been nearly detached.

Thirty-three people who were in the bus were taken to the four area hospitals to be treated for the injuries.

Several were taken to the Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury, N.J.
