The police in New Jersey said that they have caught a daring duo dubbed the "mad eggers"who have been targeting the homes and cars in one neighborhood seemingly at random over the last week and a half.
Police said on Friday that Taranbir Singh, aged 18, and Hamza Ahmed, aged 20, both of them are from Carteret, were arrested on late Thursday in connection with the egging spree in the Hidden Lake area of the North Brunswick.
Authorities also said that they started getting a few reports of egged cars and homes in the area from the last week of February and the number of reports quickly skyrocketed. The total number of cases was not immediately clear.

Singh and Ahmed are charged with numerous counts of the criminal mischief. Police also said that they are still looking for more suspects. At this point, they believe that the suspects chose the neighborhood and victims at random.
The attorney information for Singh and Ahmed was not immediately available.
