Megastar Chiranjeevi's magnum opus Syeraa is currently in final stages of post-production. Made on a massive budget of Rs 200 crores, the film is the life story of India's first freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. The film is directed by Surendar Reddy and Nayanthara is the female lead. The Telugu theatrical rights are picked up for record prices and the makers are busy closing the other deals.

The asking price for the overseas rights was Rs 20 crores and the makers finally closed it for Rs 18 crores. Phars Films based in Dubai acquired the overseas rights of Syeraa (all languages) for this record price. Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu, Anushka, Tamannaah, Vijay Sethupathi and Kicha Sudeep will be seen in other crucial roles in this periodic drama. Konidela Production Company are the producers and Syeraa releases on October 2nd in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
