Megastar Chiranjeevi completed the shoot of his next release Syeraa, a big budget periodic drama that is made on a whopping budget of Rs 200 crores. Megastar dedicated two complete years for the film and he plays freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy in this periodic drama. The film is slated for Dasara release and Megastar already started working on his next film that will be directed by Koratala siva.

This social drama presents Megastar in a lean look and he is currently working on his looks. Nayanthara is now on board as the female lead. Megastar and Koratala voted for Nayanthara and she even romanced Chiranjeevi in Syeraa. Though Keerthy Suresh was initially considered for the role, the makers finalized Nayanthara. The regular shoot will commence from August and the film releases during summer next year. Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments are the producers.
