Ex-Mafia Hit man ‘Sammy the Bull’ now out of Prison

Ex-Mafia Hit man ‘Sammy the Bull’ is now free from prison. He is released from prison after serving his almost 20 years serving period. He was arrested for drug-related convictions in Arizona and New York.

His Attorney Thomas said that Salvatore 'Sammy the Bull' Gravano was released from prison on Monday. However, he didn’t disclose any information about where Gravano served his time and Where he plans to live now.

Thomas says, “He is very upbeat and positive, it's been 17 1/2 years. A lot of things has changed, it’ll take little bit of time to get used to it. He is figuring out what he wants and he is not in hurry".

Garvano was former member of Gambino crime family; he was convicted in 19 murders. In 1991 he started working for government as informant and helped police in catching thirty-nine mobsters and he even testified against his family boss John Gotti.

But in 2000 he was arrested along with his family in Ecstasy trafficking ring. He was accused of buying Ecstasy pills from a New York based drug gang. He pleaded guilty for charges but was sentenced 20 years in jail.

He still didn’t finish his 20 years sentence period but he is released.

Officials say that, he was released from state prison last year but he was confined until recently. Authorities say that he will be in federal parole for the rest of his life.

Attorney Thomas said that he was a good inmate and he used various programs in Prison for changing himself.
