A petition on the Change.org, a site that mobilizes support for petitions through e-signatures, urging the Electoral College to reject Donald Trump as the next President of the America has become the most popular in the history of site.

The petition titled "Make Hillary Clinton President", has been signed by more than 4.6 million people. The petition calls on the Electoral College to elect the Democratic presidential nominee over Trump when it officially votes on December 19.

The petition was filed by the social activist Daniel Brezenoff. It is an unconventional way of altering the result of a United States presidential election.

Brezenoff said in his appeal, that, "This petition is unprecedented, but Donald Trump is an unprecedented danger to the Constitution. He is the kind of president our Founding Fathers warned us about."  

The petition states that, "Mr Trump is unfit to serve. His scapegoating of so many Americans, and his impulsivity, bullying, lying, admitted history of sexual assault, and utter lack of experience make him a danger to the Republic."
