The victims of earthquake in Bihar have been experienced the pain, not because of the injuries in earthquake, but the inhumane treatment by the hospital staff – who have pasted the "bhukamp" (earthquake) on their heads. The weird moment came into light after the news channels showed the clippings of the patients with "bhukamp" stickers in Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

The relatives of the wounded patients expressed their anguish over the special and indecent approach by the hospital staff in Bihar. After learning about the incident the concerned authorizes have ordered the staff to remove tags.

 

The superintendent of DMCH Shankar Jha also termed the move as insensitive. When the media approached minister in-charge for relief work for Darbhanga district Baidyanath Sahni over the episode he said, “I inquired with the DMCH Superintendent on the issue and directed him to remove them at once.” And asked the Superintendent to probe the matter and fix responsibilities.

District Magistrate Kumar Ravi described the incident as wrong and informed the media that he would ask them to remove the stickers.

According to media reports, six victims are still undergoing for treatment at DMCH and 9 patients were discharged after recovery.
