The makers of this controversial cinema are hoping that every rapist tremor with fear on watching this movie. Due for a December release,  this movie is apparently dedicated to all women across the globe.

"If, after seeing the film, a man decides not to rape a woman, I will have succeeded,” director Sanjay Chhel said in an interview.

Siddhartha Jain, the producer, said that the December gang rape of a 23-year-old woman on a bus in Delhi, inspired him to make a movie. The brutality of the crime, the outcry for justice and changes in the society and the judiciary system's role in it — every single aspect of it propelled the makers of the movie to come up with the film.

"The film is a vehicle to continue the debate on the burning issue of rape and sex crimes in India. It's my way of celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema. In a more responsible way using the powerful tool of cinema. Last year's December rape incident, shook me up," Jain  said.
